Virgin Soldiers

Virgin Soldiers combine contemporary acoustic rock with a fully fledged strings section to

create a melodic sound that they describe as Strock.

2012 was an exciting year for the band in which they supported McFly and Keane as well as
opening for the legendary Joan Armatrading at the King’s Theatre, Portsmouth. They also performed several times at NME's 'Best Small Venue in the UK', the Tunbridge Wells Forum, where they supported Steve Cradock, guitarist for Ocean Colour Scene/Paul Weller, Juan Zelada and Jack Savoretti. In July, the band played at BT London Live in Hyde Park as part of the Olympic celebrations.

The band released their debut single 'Moon Song' on August 20th 2012 and it entered the Independent Breakers Singles Chart at No. 19. This is a chart designed for the hundreds of thousands of bands who have never had a top 40 hit. 'Moon Song' also made it to No. 3 in the Amazon Rock Chart behind Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, and along with the song's Radio Edit, held both the 2nd and 3rd positions in the Amazon Hot New Rock Releases Chart.

In 2013 the band will be releasing the four #lovestrock singles starting with Sitar Song on May 19.  A video for each song will be released on Youtube.  They played the #lovestrock launch gig at the E M Forster Theatre in Tonbridge on April 27th.

Sonic Boom: How To Catch A Cat Burglar

"What would you say to the person who broke into your flat?

This is exactly the question flatmates Abbie and Jade were faced with when Abbie got home from a night out early and found the cat burglar who had been plaguing their building in her kitchen. But Abbie didn't say anything. Abbie panicked and hit him in the head with a frying pan. You've got a right to defendyour home, right? But how on earth is she ever going to explain it to Jade who arrived home to find a body wrapped in bedsheets and fairy lights and a flatmate trying to figure out how exactly a girl goes about disposing of a body?

This is where How To Catch A Cat Burglar - the hilarious new comedy from Sonic Boom, the company who brought you last year's sell out 4 star smash Scott Miller is A Lying Cheat and the Still Game revival at the Tron Theatre - begins. Absolutely not to be missed!

How To Catch A Cat Burglar
