Project Theatre Looking for Band Members / Musicians

Project Theatre are currently looking for band members / musicians for our orchestra for our upcoming musical at Falkirk Town Hall on 24th and 25th May as part of the Tryst Festival. We would be grateful if any interested parties, either individuals or groups would contact us as soon as possible.

Although we appreciate possible interested people may not be able to provide all instrumentation we ...require so we are working hard to source individuals in other areas.

The instrumentation needed is as follows:

Alto Sax
Tenor Sax
Trumpet
Trombone
Electric Guitar
Electric Bass
Drums
2 Keyboards

The musical numbers are:

Kids in America
Girls just wanna have fun
Footloose
Mickey
Video killed the radio star
Glory of love
Let’s hear it for the boy
I’m gonna be (500 Miles)
You give love a bad name
Man in the mirror
We are the world
Dancing on the ceiling
Total eclipse of the heart
Walking on sunshine
Don’t stop believing
Centrefold
Lost in your eyes
Material Girl
Eye of the tiger
The final countdown
Time of my life

As we are a voluntary group we are not currently able to pay our musicians but we will provide reasonable expenses and all other equipment as necessary. For younger musicians 25yrs and under we can also offer the Saltire Awards Scheme endorsed by the Scottish Government for youth volunteers.

For organisations we would be delighted to make a contribution donation to their funds and we will also offer complimentary tickets to friends and family and would be happy to provide sponsorship in our show programme.

Please contact us through facebook or call 01324 870419 / 07954173842 or email info@projecttheatre.org.uk
